Mama Box Turtle and her 4 Eggs

This mature female box turtle was the first to lay this year in her new outdoor pin. She laid 4 eggs in the pouring rain. She dug a couple test nests before deciding on this perfect spot. It took her several hours to dig the nest, lay the eggs, and bury them.
